Charlie Check First Safety Program
Mommy Meeting is excited to be able to bring the Charlie Check First Safety Program to our members.
Let me tell you a little bit about why I needed this program to come to Mommy Meeting.
I am the mom who from the moment my daughter was born wanted to be sure that she got everything she needed. From the right foods to help her grow, to reading a book to her every night I thought I had it all covered. Day by day I thought that I was really lucky that we never had a tough go of it with her. She was healthy and had managed to stay safe and hadn't had any major accidents or scares.
Tiara Training is coming to Mommy Meeting this week!
I recently met an amazing woman named Kathryn Severns Avery, that is the founder of Tiara Training. She came to speak at our April event and everyone was so impressed! Kathryn has a 6 week course that helps women step into their own power and be their own fairy godmother! She uses royalty archetypes, fairytales and a tiara to help women change their life and come up with a life plan that will take them in the direction of their dreams!
I have to admit that at first I wondered if the tiara thing was really for me. All too often you hear about a tiara being compared with a person that is a spoiled princess. I mean seriously, why on earth would a grown woman be willing to wear a tiara out in public, just because?
Entrepreneurship is Like Parenting: Nurture Your Business in Good Times and Bad
By: Debra E. Gould
Your business was conceived the moment you had the idea that would free you from the daily grind of working for someone else. You worked hard to bring that business into the world; drafting a plan, coming up with a name, finding a designer to create your logo, a developer to get your website online, all of that is like labor. That business is your baby.
You were there throughout its infancy losing sleep, doing what you could to keep it growing, healthy and thriving. You put everything you had into it; you read everything you could get your hands on about growing your business just like a new mother devours parenting magazines and how-to books. When a business is new, it’s almost a novelty. It’s thrilling to watch something you created from nothing grow into something bigger. When you’re complimented on your brand you feel proud as a parent showing off baby pictures.

Mommy Meeting offers child-friendly opportunities for moms to connect. Through meetings, workshops, retreats and gatherings, we provide moms with the tools and resources to become better leaders in their homes, business and communities.
